After Manchester City’s cancelled pre-season fixture against ES Troyes, Pep Guardiola’s side have scheduled another pre-season fixture against Barnsley in order to prepare for the season ahead.
City have had a slow and difficult pre-season so far and many of Manchester City ‘s first team squad are still away on holiday after competing at Euro 2020 and Copa America.
However, some of Guardiola’s key men are slowly starting to return and there will likely be more senior figures in action against a tough opponent who enjoyed a solid campaign in the Championship last season.
This will be the club’s final preparation before they take on Leicester City in the Community Shield on August 7 and Tottenham in the Premier League on August 15.
What times does Manchester City vs Barnsley kick off?
