Kym Marsh has sent fans into frenzy as she teased a singing comeback.
The former Coronation Street actress brought back happy memories as she shared a photo of herself looking delighted while standing at a microphone and wearing headphones in a recording studio.
“Exciting times ahead!!!” she captioned the photo and the messages came floiding in from her followers on Instagram.

Fans are hoping this means former pop star Kym might be recording new music.
“Woohoo!” cheered one fan.
“Singing again Kym ooooh,” said another.
“Cant wait to see what next for you,” another fan told her.
“Well this is exciting,” commented another follower.
“Whaaaaat! Please say this involves singing?!!! Xx” asked another.

Before her Corrie days Kym shot to fame in 2001 in the band Hear’Say which was formed on the reality show Popstars.
She and her bandmates Danny Foster, Myleene Klass, Noel Sullivan and Suzanne Shaw broke records with their debut single Pure and Simple.
The hit became the fastest-selling debut single of all time in the UK and spent three weeks at number one.
Kym left the band in 2002 and had a successful solo career.

Her debut single Cry went to number two in the UK singles chart and her second Come On Over went to number 10.
In July 2003 her debut solo album Standing Tall peaked at number nine.
Kym joined Coronation Street as barmaid Michelle Connor in 2006.
After winning high praise for a number of hard-hitting storylines, including the death of her baby son at 23 weeks of pregnancy, the character left the soap at Christmas 2019 in the back of a taxi to start a new life in Ireland.

Since October she has hosted the BBC Morning Live with Gethin Jones.
She has a son David and daughers Emilie and Polly and Kym’s eldest daughter Emilie Cunliffe and her partner Mikey Hoszowskyj welcomed their baby boy Teddy in May 2019.
In June Kym and her man Scott Ratcliff announced their engagement.
The couple began dating back in 2018 after being introduced by their mutual friend Antony Cotton, who plays Sean Tully in Corrie.
She and Scott chatted on the phone first because he was away working before meeting up in person.
Scott popped the question on Kym’s 45th birthday.
