A Bolton man has been charged with murder following the death of a 10-month-old baby in 2019.
Ali Zain, 24, of Crompton Street, Farnworth, is due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today.
The baby has been named on court documents as Aiman Toor.

A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said: “Detectives investigating the death of an 10-month-old baby in Bolton in 2019 have charged a man.
“Shortly after 5.30pm on 1 November 2019, emergency services were called to a report of a 10-month-old baby girl who was unresponsive at an address on Crompton Street, Farnworth.
“She was taken to hospital where she sadly died.
“Following a thorough investigation by detectives from GMP’s Major Incident Team, Ali Zain (05/01/1997), of Crompton Street, Farnworth, has been charged with murder.
“He has been remanded in custody and will appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today (19 August 2021).”
