A motorist was stopped by police after driving more than 20mph over the speed limit on a residential street in Sale.
Officers monitoring Hope Road, which has a speed limit of 30mph, pulled over the driver of a grey Mini travelling at 51mph.
The Mini was among a number of vehicles stopped by Greater Manchester Police traffic officers – who were carrying out an enforcement exercise on the residential road in Sale on Wednesday – for speeding.

The tweet continued: “Drive to the conditions and don’t exceed the posted limit!”
