Between thunderstorms, flooding and several yellow weather warnings from the Met Office, it’s safe to say that the Great British weather has been rather underwhelming so far this August.
Unfortunately, the rain that has dominated the forecast over the last few weeks is showing no signs of stopping, with cloudy conditions and scattered showers expected across much of England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland today.
There are some positives, however, as the Met Office is predicting some welcome sunshine for those in eastern parts of England, and many regions will stay dry.
