Ruben Dias and Gabriel Jesus to return — Predicted Man City line up vs PSG

Manchester City can book their place in the Champions League knockout stages when they welcome big-spending PSG to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening.

Pep Guardiola’s side will not only secure qualification to the last 16 with a win but they will also seal top spot in the group and, crucially, will be seeded in the first knockout round.

City could also still qualify with a draw or a defeat should Club Brugge fail to beat RB Leipzig in the other Group A clash this evening.

The Premier League champions head into the clash on the back of an impressive 3-0 win over Everton in the Premier League on Sunday and, thankfully, Guardiola has no fresh knocks to deal with.

Kevin De Bruyne will miss the match after contracting covid-19, while Ferran Torres will miss the visit of les Parisiens with an ankle injury.

Guardiola handed Cole Palmer a rare start against Everton but Gabriel Jesus — who has been in good goalscoring form of late — is likely to come back into the team on the right-hand side of the front three.

Phil Foden should line up on the left-hand side with Raheem Sterling, who scored against the Toffees, assuming the false nine position.
